The Missionary Promotion and Stewardship Education Commission promotes the missionary spirit and Christian stewardship among the churches and affiliated organizations of the Baptist Churches of Puerto Rico, with a view to meeting missionary needs in Puerto Rico and abroad; it also develops a healthy attitude toward the dedication of time, talents and assets to the service of the Lord and his Church. The objectives of this commission are the following:

1. Develop missionary education plans and provide churches with informational material that helps parishioners understand the needs of missionary fields and the service opportunities available there;

2. To encourage and guide churches to create the most conducive environment for Christian vocations;

3. Interpret and promote objectives and goals for missionary offerings;

4. Organize and promote, in coordination with the Finance Committee, the economic campaigns that the assembly of Baptist Churches of Puerto Rico authorizes to be carried out;

5. Promote and organize institutes, courses, workshops, conferences and seminars related to the topics of missions and stewardship; and

6. To prepare and promote appropriate literature, methods, and equipment to stimulate the missionary spirit and Christian stewardship.
